Break time? Break time.

I forgot to mention here but I'm gonna take an art break for November.
I don't wanna worry about having to finish things or post things for a while.
It might extend into December to a degree- but we'll see. 'We'll see' usually means I have no fucking idea lmao.
Cos I have 2 old Christmas pics I'd at least like to finish and get out.
One of the reasons for this though is that my little 'office space', if you can call it that, is getting a little renovation, so I've moved all my stuff out.
New wooden paneling on the walls, a proper wood flooring and isolation instead of a thin ass carpet on concrete. My feet always get so cold in winter lmao.
Parents said it should only take a week- I'm gonna say 3 weeks with how they work haha, but I don't mind.
I'm really debating what I wanna do about twitter too, I think it is actually sapping a lot of my enthusiasm and love for drawing, as well as just being a cesspool of hate and anger.
Some of my fave artists have fully left twitter and moved to bluesky, and I have nothing but respect for them for making the leap.
Even if thats where the biggest crowd is, it doesn't mean its the right place to be.
Bluesky is pretty nice right now but I know as much as the next guy it could vanish any day or be one bad decision away from ending up like twitter. Look at cohost. Already dead.
I think its kinda obvious my art mood has been on a rapid decline. I don't respond to comments on FA much anymore, or leave them till weeks, maybe months later.
I'm fed up I guess. I still read and appreciate every comment, and I feel bad that I don't get back to every one.
During this break i wanna try and write, or just play a shit ton of games for once. I really dont game like I used to, feeling like I'm wasting away time.
And binging youtube as always lmao.
I uhhh think that is all.

The remodel of your workspace sounds very fun, though! Can't wait for you to actually have the space you deserve for making the banger art you do, and I hope it works out for you and gets done without issue! Hopefully your break goes peacefully, too. I won't lie by saying I'm not interested in what you might possibly have in mind for writing.

On a more serious note burn outs a real thing and I think it's fair to say if I had a magic wand I'd help you out, but the only one who can make decisions here is yourself. So do what you think is right and either way, I'm sure many of us will support you, even if it's in a good bye.
