I didnt really have a mom. I mean yeah some woman gave birth to me and I know who she is and all but yes I do indeed hate her. She is a drug addic and an alcoholic. Both of these things I had to clean up when I was a kid. The vomit in the morning...The drug dealers late at night...So cha I do indeed hate her with a passion. And it is because of this that if I ever have children of my own that I will be a better person about it. Maybe because I am bi and a fur that I will be more open to my own childrens weirdness. But that is only if I have children. I was raped when I was 4 because of my mothers drug addiction and doctors dont know if I could even carry a child let alone get pregnant.

Nah dont worry about it...I dont want kids anyway...There are already too many fucked up people in this world...I dont need to contribute to the problem.

As a sad fact, most mothers are completely distraught at the thought that their child has different views, or views that completely contradict their own.

Furry is one of many subcultures that are either not known well enough, or are misrepresented through news, bigots, etc. To the point that there is no hope for a positive presentation in an audience of assumptions.

To put it bluntly, some people are just "that" thick headed... All they understand is what they think about, and anything outside of that range is looked upon cautiously or shunned because it "is" different. That will never change.

On a side note. Mothers tend to over react in this topic because one of the first things to go through their head is; "Where did I go wrong?" They immediately take offense to the subject because they see it as example of some failure in their "raising" skills as a parent. The last thing they ever think of is the fact that ultimately your life is YOUR choice.
