Good for you. As an artist you have a right to refuse to draw things that are not to your taste. Anyone who gets pissed over this can go jump off a cliff. You provide a service, if people don't like your terms, then they don't have to do business with you. Your art is well liked and in demand anyway so I don't think you'll be seeing much of a reduction.

Ya. I've seen the "will not draw" list method used for a few artists, it I think it works for them. It's shitty that someone would make you feel crap for not drawing something that might make you feel uncomfortable :( Those kinds of people are the worst. At the same time, letting people know what you are willing to draw would help others to filter themselves when commissioning you. And your art is so fantastically awesome, I'm sure you get a TON of commission requests :p

If you can afford not to draw it, there's no reason to. It helps everyone because it also jacks up the price for artists who are desperate enough to take work they don't like.

Yup, I agree with this one. There's an abundance of porn in this fandom, so it's pointless and shallow to dislike a decision like that. (Sorry I haven't uploaded that AWESOME Megaman X pic, by the way. I don't have a computer at the moment, and the camera on my phone is shit x.x)

You can draw what you want and if you want to draw it, you as the artist has the right to turn down ANY commission you dont feel comfortable doing, or just plain dont feel like drawing. You never have to take everything that is thrown at you cause they have money to throw down... you are popular enough (I hate that word... lets say, "known" or "admired" enough...) that you will get plenty of work that you want to draw. *hugs tight*

I will never fault your decision since you are the artist that have to draw the content.
However i don't think you should ever feel guilty to turn a commission down and make a list over what you will never draw. Regardless of my opinion i will support your decision all the way.

In that case, I'd like to suggest that you post both remaining commissions and note in the description that you no longer accept pornographic commissions under any circumstances. You could also say that these were accepted before you decided that porn is not worth the bother, that you completed these to keep your given word, but you would not have accept them now and will not accept any like them in future.

I'm sorry to hear that somebody attacked you for declining a commission. As long as you were polite about it, the commissioner should have just accepted your decision. It's entirely your place to decide which commissions you will and will not accept.

The reason I suggest that you post those last two porn commissions with a disclaimer is that the commissioners would likely post them anyway and without disclaimers. Others who see them might then start bugging you to accept porn commissions on the strength of those two. You can't do much about that, but you can get your own message out in more places. (It's also fair to ask the commissioners to link to your own submissions of their purchases.)
