back on FA, and AC16

Yay! I'm finally back on FA. Haven't been on since early May, account was locked out but I finally learned how to get it re-established today. Yay!
Many of my friends are at Anthrocon right now, enjoying the dead dog party tonight. I didn't go this year, could not afford it, but I've had a good weekend still. I experienced many of the core activities I enjoy when I attend the con by watching them on the livestream this year, which was great. I couldn't be there, but was with the con in spirit. I even saw the fursuit parade live as it happened, which was livestreamed by WTAE Pittsburgh TV 4. I cheered for all my friends as I saw them, and also for some new suiters I spotted that I really liked.
My favorite act from the Masquerade was Sundance Wolf with her beautiful singing of "Climb Every Mountain" from "The Sound of Music." Also enjoyed the girl doing the flag routine, but my computer locked up part way into it and missed the rest of that performer. Also noted that a number of performers played guitar on stage, in fursuit, and did a great job! All did well.
I will return again someday to this wonderful con but not going this year was the right decision because I just could not afford it. I wish my friends (and everyone else, for that matter) a safe return trip home. Looking forward to reading their writeups as they come in.
