As everyone familiar with it no doubt knows by now, the Delaware Furbowl is back again and will be starting in less than an hour. I had considered going, actually really would have liked to be there seeing all the cool fursuiters I've seen sign up. However, due to availability schedules, my family is celebrating Father's Day today instead of tomorrow, so they wanted to have me around tonight. That, and also the furbowl is now further away for me than it used to be. Used to take me about 2 hours to get to the lanes at Price Corners. 2 hours wasn't bad, the drive was more or less low stress and worth it to get to hang out with these amazingly cool fursuiters. But the new location tacks on an additional 20-30 minutes, something like that, and the roads at the end look like they might be high stress super highways (which sucks), after I've already driven 2 hours. So, I finally decided not to go tonight. Plan to go some other time, not sure when that will be. Will be seeing the movie Dr. Strange tonight, and getting up early tomorrow to visit York Airport's Open House aviation events. For those of you that are going to the furbowl, have fun, I hope the new location works out great, and I look forward to seeing picture posts and tales about how the night went!
